The purpose of the reading group is the exploration of the writings and psychoanalytic theories of Carl Gustav Jung. The group is open to anyone who has an interest in developing a deeper knowledge of Jung and wants interaction with like minded people. The reading group will meet in Melbourne, Florida on a monthly basis from October through May. In addition we will bring in other Jungians to talk about different aspects of Jungian psychoanalysis. The group's mission is to increase our knowledge of C.G. Jung.

We will begin by closely looking at Jung's autobiography “MEMORIES DREAMS AND REFLECTIONS” and the biographies written by others, so that we can get a balanced view of who Jung was and what personal and archetypal experiences were central to his development. The reading group will be on-going. We will convene at 10:00 am. and finish at 11:30. The cost will be $15 per session. The reading group will be limited to 10 participants and will be facilitated by Dr. S.J. Soter.

If you are interested in joining the Reading Group, send an email of your interest along with any questions.

"Even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better take things as they come along with patience and equanimity." --Carl Gustav Jung
